Noah and Jensen had their first boat ride

The cousins were there
Jensen was sleepy so he did not really enjoy the ride. Lots of fussing until his dad made a fort for them to play in
Noah did this
Both were happy (and windblown) when we reached our lunch destination

Friday night, my parents watched the boys while we went to the rodeo! Our family friends, The Geriks (who deserve their own post), were so sweet to give us tickets.
So...they always have the best seats to everything and this was no exception! As you can tell, we were not even in the stadium seating in Reliant. Completely on the floor and the people right in front of us got dirt on them during the wagon races! Free food and a private bar. Such a great night!
Since we hadn't planned on going, Cyndi also hooked me up with some sweet boots!
Alan Jackson
Mutton Bustin. Oh, Mutton Bustin. Seriously, what is more adorable than 5 year olds in helmets snuggling/clinging to dear life to a fluffy, cuddly sheep? Nothing. The stage was being set up so we couldn't see the kiddos but we watched on the big screen. Look closely. I was crying at the cuteness and teared up the next day talking about it.
And before you ask, No. My kids will not be participating.
On Saturday, we attempted another lunch outing on the boat with success. Both boys did great both ways. Man, it was hot though. Felt like summer!
The rest of the day was spent fishing. Charley got to go on this trip (for the first time in a very long time) and he loved fishing with his friends Joey and Chandler.
Thank you Jensens and Rowlands for a great trip! It was much needed after the past couple of weeks of sickness.
